Contraindications:

Based on neomycin component: Hypersensitivity to neomycin or any component of the formulation, or other aminoglycosides; intestinal obstruction

Based on dexamethasone component: Hypersensitivity to dexamethasone or any component of the formulation; active untreated infections; ophthalmic use in viral, fungal, or tuberculosis diseases of the eye

Adverse Reactions:

<1%: Burning, local irritation or transient stinging; epithelial punctate keratitis, increased intraocular pressure, mydriasis, ptosis, and possible corneal or scleral malacia can occur

Drug Interactions:

Dexamethasone: Substrate of CYP3A4 (minor); Induces CYP2A6 (weak), 2B6 (weak), 2C8/9 (weak), 3A4 (weak)
