MAA at Camden Yards

More than 200 alumni and students gathered under overcast skies for a picnic at Davidge Hall before heading to Camden Yards to watch the Orioles play the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday, April 23. Hotdogs, hamburgers, music and raffles were part of the festivities. The Orioles lost 11-9 in extra innings.

Twenty-three of the 27 living past presidents of the Medical Alumni Association gathered at the Engineering Society of Baltimore on Thursday, April 24, to view the premier of Ars Medicinae, a video which traces the founding of the School of Medicine. George H. Yeager, ’29, the MAA’s 88th president in 1962, was the most senior past president attending the event. School of Medicine Dean Donald E. Wilson, M.A.C.P., and University of Maryland System Chancellor Donald Langenberg also attended the celebration. Video Press produced the 22-minute video which was financed by the Medical Alumni Association. The video will be made available to alumni in the fall.
