A major goal of Hematologic Malignancies Program is to develop new curative approaches for leukemias, lymphomas and myelomas. For example:

  1. We offer a number of NCI-funded Phase I and II innovative clinical trials of new drugs and novel drug combinations for patients with newly diagnosed or relapsed and/or refractory leukemias and myelodysplasia.
  2. We use novel immunotherapy approaches to treat Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML), lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
  3. We offer new molecularly-targeted drugs for multiple myeloma.
