Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Residency Programs

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine shares with other academic departments of the University of Maryland School of Medicine the responsibilities of patient care services, research, and education of medical students, residents, and fellows. While recognizing the importance of high-quality performance in all of these functions, this department places special emphasis on excellence in clinical service and resident education.

The department supervises and coordinates 2 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education–accredited residency programs in:

Diagnostic radiology
Nuclear medicine
