The Vascular and Interventional Radiology Division offers expert state of the art minimally invasive image guided diagnostic and therapeutic care for a wide variety of vascular and nonvascular conditions affecting the chest, abdomen and extremities.

Arterial Disease

Diagnostic arteriography and venography Magnetic Resonance and Computerized Tomographic Angiography, ultrasound and functional assessment for peripheral vascular disease
Recanalization (thrombolysis, angioplasty, stent) for symptomatic mesenteric, renal, brachiocephalic, upper and lower extremity occlusive disease
Embolization for control of post traumatic, gynecologic and gastrointestinal bleeding
Percutaneous management of aneurysmal disease (aortic, visceral, extremity)
Comprehensive management of vascular malformations (specialty clinic)

Venous Disease

Image-guided vena cava filter placement
Recanalization/reconstruction for upper extremity, caval and lower extremity veno occlusive disease

Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT) for patients with inoperable liver cancer
