Biography:Dr. Pollak is an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and attending orthopaedic trauma surgeon at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Dr. Pollak's clinical and research expertise includes the effect of field decisions
on time to definitive care and long-term patient outcomes following severe lower
extremity fractures and management of spinal injuries.
He is director of the Shock Trauma GoTeam, associate team physician for the
Baltimore Ravens and a fire surgeon for the Baltimore County Fire Department.
He is an attending surgeon at several area hospitals, including Kernan Hospital
and the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
