Biography:Jerome N. Kopelman, M.D.
Dr. Kopelman is an associate professor of
obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences
and a director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Fellowship Program at the University of Maryland
School of Medicine. He received his medical
degree from New York Medical College and interned
at Brooke Army Medical Center. He served his
residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brooke
Army Medical Center and was a fellow in
maternal-fetal medicine at Madigan Army Medical
Center. Dr. Kopelman retired from the U.S. Army
in 1998 as the senior perinatologist in the
Department of Defense. He is the Vice
Chair-Retired of the Army Section of the American
College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a
member of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine
and the American Institute of Ultrasound in
Medicine. He has reviewed papers for the American
Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and
Obstetrics and Gynecology and has presented and
published extensively.
