Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using any other medicine, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
Make sure your doctor knows if you are also using digoxin (Lanoxin®), any cold or allergy medicine with a decongestant, blood pressure medicine (such as atenolol, metoprolol, Inderal®, Toprol®), diuretics or "water pills" (such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, Lasix®).
In the past 14 days, if you have used an MAO inhibitor (Eldepryl®, Marplan®, Nardil®, Parnate®) or medicine for depression (such as amitriptyline, imipramine, Norpramin®, Vivactil®), tell your doctor.
Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, heart rhythm problems, seizures, thyroid problems, diabetes, trouble swallowing, or digestive problems.
If your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse, call your doctor.
