You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to propoxyphene, aspirin, or caffeine. Medicines that contain aspirin should not be taken by people with active ulcers, bleeding problems, or children or teenagers with symptoms of the flu or a viral infection.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using any other medicine, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine.
Make sure your doctor knows if you are also taking blood thinners such as Coumadin®, medicine for gout, or any medicines that could make you drowsy such as sedatives, sleeping pills, or muscle relaxants.
