Symptoms:

  • Avoiding food
  • Coma
  • Feeding difficulties
  • Lethargy
  • Seizures
  • Urine that smells like maple syrup
  • Vomiting

Signs and tests:

There will be signs of ketosis and acidosis (excess acid in blood).
