Diagnosis is made by ruling out other causes. Tests include:

  • Bladder biopsy
  • Cystoscopy (endoscopy of bladder)
  • Urine analysis
  • Urine culture
  • Urine cytology
  • Video urodynamics (shows how much urine must be in the bladder before you feel the need to urinate)
