Ectropion - Symptom

Symptoms:

  • Excess tearing of the eye (epiphora)
  • Eyelid turns outward
  • Redness of the lid and white part of the eye

Signs and tests:

A physical examination of the eyes and eyelids confirms the diagnosis. Special tests are usually not necessary.
