The foundation for any department is the staff. Maintaining and facilitating quality working relationships depends on recognition/appreciation of individual contributions, establishing a culture of mutual respect, and fostering a spirit of collaboration. Additionally, the personal and professional goals of each faculty member must be understood and cultivated. This type of program will promote outstanding patient care in an atmosphere where faculty are stimulated toward academic achievement.

Audiologists

All of the audiologists at the Maryland Hearing and Balance Center are licensed by the State of Maryland Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Speech-Language Pathologists and Hearing Aid Dispensers and are certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (CCC-A).

Our professional audiology staff is highly experienced in basic and advanced audiological test procedures for adults and children, hearing aid fittings for adults and children, and newborn hearing screenings.
