Primeros auxilios:
- Tranquilice a la persona lesionada.
- Coloque la mano y la muñeca sobre una férula en una posición de descanso normal.
- Coloque una férula rígida por el lado de abajo de la muñeca, la mano o el antebrazo.
- Coloque un objeto acolchado como un calcetín, un trozo de tela acolchado o una venda elástica enrollada en la palma de la mano.
- Envuelva la muñeca, la mano, la férula o el objeto acolchado. No lo apriete demasiado y mantenga las puntas de los dedos descubiertas.
- Eleve la muñeca o póngala en un cabestrillo.
- Aplique una compresa de hielo sobre la muñeca para ayudar a disminuir la hinchazón.
- Traslade a la víctima a un centro de atención de urgencias o centro médico de emergencia.
- No intente mover ni enderezar la muñeca o la mano.
