Trauma del coxis
Definición:
Es una lesión en el hueso pequeño que se encuentra en el extremo inferior de la columna.

Consideraciones generales:
Las verdaderas fracturas de coxis son poco frecuentes y usualmente involucran amoratamiento en el hueso o estiramiento de los ligamentos.
Causas:
Las causas más comunes de este tipo de lesiones son las caÃdas hacia atrás sobre una superficie dura, como un piso resbaloso o hielo.
