Síntomas:

  • Hemorragia por la nariz, la boca, las encías y el recto
  • Sangre en las heces
  • Hematomas
  • Confusión
  • Deshidratación
  • Diarrea
  • Desmayo
  • Fatiga
  • Fiebre
  • Pérdida del cabello
  • Inflamación de áreas expuestas (enrojecimiento, sensibilidad, hinchazón, sangrado)
  • Úlceras bucales
  • Náuseas y vómitos
  • Úlceras abiertas en la piel
  • Quemaduras de la piel (enrojecimiento, ampollas)
  • Muda de piel
  • Ulceración del esófago, estómago o intestinos
  • Vómitos con sangre
  • Debilidad

El médico aconsejará el mejor tratamiento para estos síntomas. Se pueden recetar medicamentos para ayudar a reducir las náuseas, el vómito y el dolor. Asimismo, se pueden hacer transfusiones de sangre para la anemia. Los antibióticos se utilizan para prevenir o combatir infecciones.
