Shock

Prevención:

Se deben aprender formas de prevenir las enfermedades cardíacas , las caídas, las lesiones, la deshidratación y otras causas de shock . Si la persona tiene una alergia conocida (por ejemplo, a picaduras de insectos), debe llevar consigo un estuche de epinefrina, que el doctor le enseñará cómo y dónde usar.

Una vez que una persona ya está en shock , cuanto antes reciba el tratamiento, menor será el daño que tenga en sus órganos vitales, como el riñón, el hígado y el cerebro. Los primeros auxilios y la ayuda médica oportuna pueden ayudar a salvar la vida de la persona.
