Síntomas:

• Dolor de cabeza
• Sangrado de la herida , oídos, nariz o alrededor de los ojos
• Salida de líquido claro o sanguinolento por los oídos o la nariz
• Pérdida del conocimiento
• Confusión
• Convulsiones
• Inquietud , irritabilidad
• Somnolencia
• Mala pronunciación
• Problemas con el equilibrio
• Trastornos visuales
• Náuseas
• Vómitos
• Hinchazón
• Amoratamiento detrás de las orejas o debajo de los ojos
• Cambios en las pupilas (tamaño desigual, no reaccionan a la luz)
• Cuello rígido

Nota: el único síntoma puede ser una protuberancia en la cabeza.
