Eosinofilia pulmonar simple

Definición:

Es una inflamación de los pulmones asociada con un incremento en eosinófilos, un tipo de glóbulo blanco.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

La mayoría de los casos de eosinofilia pulmonar simple se deben a una reacción alérgica, ya sea a causa de un medicamento, como sulfonamida, o una infección por un hongo o un parásito, incluyendo el Ascaris lumbricoides .
