Enfermedad pulmonar reumatoidea

Definición:

Es un grupo de problemas pulmonares relacionados con la artritis reumatoidea . La afección puede incluir presencia de líquido en el tórax ( derrames pleurales ), cicatrización ( fibrosis pulmonar ), protuberancias (nódulos) y presión arterial alta en los pulmones (hipertensión pulmonar).

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

Las anomalías pulmonares son comunes en la artritis reumatoidea, pero a menudo son asintomáticas. Las causas de la enfermedad pulmonar asociada con la artritis reumatoidea se desconocen.
