Mesotelioma (benigno-fibroso) - Tratamiento

Tratamiento:

Generalmente la cirugía es necesaria para un tumor solitario.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Se espera que los resultados sean buenos con un tratamiento oportuno. La enfermedad puede retornar en aproximadamente 1 de cada 10 casos y puede volver a ocurrir hasta 10 años más tarde.

Complicaciones:

Una de las complicaciones es que se presente un derrame pleural (líquido que drena hacia las membranas alrededor de los pulmones).
