Tratamiento:

Generalmente se necesita tratamiento para extirpar el tumor.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Se espera que el pronóstico sea bueno con un tratamiento oportuno. La enfermedad puede retornar en aproximadamente 1 de cada 10 casos y puede volver a ocurrir hasta 10 años más tarde.

Complicaciones:

Una complicación es un derrame pleural (líquido que escapa hacia las membranas alrededor de los pulmones).
