Síndrome de Klippel-Trenaunay - Overview

Definición:

Es una rara afección presente al nacer. Este síndrome generalmente consiste en hemangiomas planos, crecimiento excesivo de huesos y tejido blando, y venas varicosas.

Causas:

La mayoría de los casos de este síndrome ocurre sin una razón aparente; sin embargo, se cree que unos cuantos casos se transmiten de padres a hijos (hereditarios), posiblemente como un rasgo autosómico dominante.
