Trombosis venosa profunda - Symptom

Nombres alternativos

Coágulo en las piernas; TVP; DVT; Tromboembolia; Síndrome posflebítico; Síndrome postrombótico

Síntomas:

  • Cambios en el color de la piel en una pierna (enrojecimiento).
  • Aumento del calor en una pierna.
  • Dolor de pierna, en una sola.
  • Sensibilidad en una sola pierna.
  • Piel que se siente caliente al tacto.
  • Inflamación (edema) de una pierna.

Pruebas y exámenes:

El médico llevará a cabo un examen físico, el cual puede revelar enrojecimiento, inflamación o sensibilidad en la pierna.

Se pueden realizar los siguientes exámenes:

Se pueden hacer exámenes de sangre para verificar si hay aumento de la posibilidad de coagulación de la sangre (hipercoagulabilidad), tales como:

  • Resistencia a la proteína C activada (verifica la mutación en el factor V de Leiden).
  • Niveles de antitrombina III.
  • Anticuerpos antifosfolípidos.
  • Pruebas genéticas para buscar mutaciones que lo hagan a uno más propenso a la formación de coágulos de sangre, como la mutación en protrombina 20210A.
  • Anticoagulante lúpico.
  • Niveles de proteína C y proteína S.
  • Exámenes para coagulación intravascular diseminada (CID).
