Regurgitación tricuspídea - Symptom

Insuficiencia tricuspídea

Síntomas:

La regurgitación tricuspídea puede ser asintomática si el paciente no presenta hipertensión pulmonar . Si coexisten la hipertensión pulmonar y la regurgitación tricuspídea de moderada a severa, se pueden dar los siguientes síntomas:

Pulsaciones activas en las venas del cuello
Disminución de la diuresis
Fatiga, cansancio
Hinchazón generalizada
Hinchazón del abdomen
Hinchazón de los pies y de los tobillos
Debilidad

Signos y exámenes:

El médico puede detectar anomalías cuando presiona suavemente con la mano (palpación) sobre el pecho de la persona y también puede sentir un pulso sobre el hígado. El examen físico puede revelar hinchazón del hígado y del bazo.

La auscultación del corazón con un estetoscopio revela un soplo o ruidos anormales. Asimismo, puede haber signos de acumulación de líquido en el abdomen.

El agrandamiento del lado derecho del corazón puede verse en un ECG o en una ecocardiografía. Para medir las presiones arteriales dentro del corazón y los pulmones, se utiliza una ecografía Doppler o un cateterismo cardíaco en el lado derecho.
