Signos y exámenes:

El médico llevará a cabo un examen físico y usará un estetoscopio para escuchar el corazón y los pulmones. Se puede sentir un frémito o vibración sobre el corazón y escuchar un soplo cardíaco ("clic mesosistólico"). El soplo se siente más duro cuando la persona se pone de pie.

La presión sanguínea es usualmente normal.
