Disección aórtica - Symptom

Aneurisma aórtico disecante

Síntomas:

Los síntomas con frecuencia comienzan repentinamente y comprenden dolor torácico. El dolor puede:

  • Describirse como fuerte, agudo, punzante, desgarrador
  • Sentirse por debajo del esternón y se irradia luego bajo los omóplatos o a la espalda
  • Irradiarse a los hombros, el cuello, los brazos, la mandíbula, el abdomen y las caderas
  • Cambiar de posición: el dolor se mueve de manera característica hacia los brazos y piernas, a medida que la disección aórtica empeora

El médico elaborará la historia clínica y auscultará el corazón, los pulmones y el abdomen con un estetoscopio. Se puede escuchar un sonido de "soplo" sobre la aorta, un soplo cardíaco u otros ruidos anormales.

Puede haber una diferencia en la presión arterial entre el brazo izquierdo y el derecho o entre los brazos y las piernas.

Asimismo, puede haber presión arterial baja, venas del cuello que sobresalen o signos que se asemejan a un ataque cardíaco. Igualmente, puede haber signos de shock, pero con presión arterial normal.
