Taponamiento cardíaco - Symptom

Síntomas:

  • Ansiedad, inquietud
  • Dolor torácico:
    • que se irradia al cuello, hombros, espalda o abdomen
    • agudo, punzante
    • empeora con respiración profunda o tos
  • Dificultad respiratoria
  • Molestia, que algunas veces se alivia al sentarse en posición erguida e inclinarse hacia adelante
  • Desmayos, mareos
  • Piel pálida, grisácea o azulada
  • Palpitaciones
  • Respiración acelerada
  • Inflamación del abdomen u otras áreas

Otros síntomas que pueden ocurrir con esta enfermedad son:

Signos y exámenes:

No existen pruebas de laboratorio específicas para diagnosticar el taponamiento. La ecocardiografía típicamente se usa para ayudar a establecer el diagnóstico.

Signos:

  • La presión arterial puede bajar (pulso paradójico) cuando la persona inhala profundamente
  • La respiración puede ser rápida
  • La frecuencia cardíaca puede estar por encima de 100 (lo normal es entre 60 y 100 latidos por minuto)
  • Los ruidos cardíacos se desvanecen durante un examen con un estetoscopio
  • Las venas del cuello pueden estar dilatadas (distendidas), pero la presión arterial puede estar baja
  • Los pulsos periféricos pueden estar débiles o ausentes
