Absceso intrabdominal

Un conteo sanguíneo completo puede mostrar un conteo de glóbulos blancos por encima de lo normal. Un grupo de pruebas metabólicas completas puede mostrar problemas hepáticos, renales y de química sanguínea.
Una tomografía computarizada del abdomen generalmente revela un absceso intraabdominal. Después de realizar la tomografía, se puede colocar una aguja a través de la piel dentro de la cavidad del absceso para confirmar su diagnóstico y tratarlo.
