Prevención:

El tratamiento y diagnóstico oportunos de la infección por hepatitis B pueden ayudar a prevenir la hepatitis D.

Evite el consumo de drogas por vía intravenosa, pero si lo hace, absténgase de compartir agujas.

Existe una vacuna disponible para la prevención de la hepatitis B. Los adultos que estén en alto riesgo de contraer la infección por hepatitis B y todos los niños deben considerar la posibilidad de hacerse aplicar esta vacuna.
