Colecistitis de tipo crónico

Síntomas:

La colecistitis aguda es una afección dolorosa que lleva a colecistitis crónica. No está claro si la colecistitis crónica causa algún síntoma.

Pruebas y exámenes:

El médico puede ordenar los siguientes exámenes:

Amilasa y lipasa: para diagnosticar enfermedades del páncreas.
Conteo sanguíneo completo (CSC).
Pruebas de la función hepática: para evaluar qué tan bien está trabajando el hígado.

Los exámenes que revelan la presencia de cálculos o inflamación en la vesícula biliar abarcan:

Tomografía computarizada del abdomen.
Ecografía abdominal.
Gammagrafía de la vesícula biliar (gammagrafía hepatobiliar con ácido iminodiacético: HIDA, por sus siglas en inglés).
Colecistografía oral.
