Síndrome de Peutz-Jeghers - Symptom

Síntomas:

  • Manchas pigmentadas de color marrón o azul grisáceo en los labios, las encías, el revestimiento interior de la boca y la piel
  • Dedos de manos y pies en palillo de tambor
  • Cólicos en el área abdominal
  • Pecas oscuras en y alrededor de los labios de un recién nacido
  • Sangre en las heces que se puede observar a simple vista (ocasionalmente)
  • Vómitos

Pruebas y exámenes:

Los pólipos se desarrollan principalmente en el intestino delgado, pero también en el colon. Una colonoscopia mostrará los pólipos en este último. El intestino delgado se evalúa ya sea con una radiografía con bario (tránsito del intestino delgado) o una pequeña cámara que uno se traga y toma luego múltiples imágenes a medida que viaja a través del intestino delgado (endoscopia por cápsula).
