Seudoquiste pancreático
Definición:
Es la acumulación de tejido, lÃquido, residuos, enzimas pancreáticas y sangre que se puede desarrollar después de una pancreatitis aguda .
Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:
Los seudoquistes pancreáticos se desarrollan usualmente después de un episodio de pancreatitis aguda grave y con frecuencia ocurren cuando los conductos pancreáticos se rompen debido a la inflamación que se presenta durante la pancreatitis. Entre los factores de riesgo se pueden mencionar pancreatitis aguda, trauma abdominal y pancreatitis crónica .
