Cálculo biliar; Cálculo en las vías biliares; Cálculo en el conducto biliar
Es la presencia de un cálculo biliar en el conducto colédoco. Dicho cálculo puede consistir en pigmentos biliares o sales de calcio y colesterol.
Aproximadamente el 15% de las personas con cálculos biliares desarrollan cálculos en el conducto colédoco, el pequeño conducto que transporta la bilis desde la vesícula hasta el intestino.
Entre los factores de riesgo están los antecedentes médicos de cálculos biliares. Sin embargo, la coledocolitiasis puede ocurrir en personas a quienes se les haya extirpado la vesícula biliar.
