Enfermedad hepática alcohólica - Symptom

Hepatopatía alcohólica; Cirrosis o hepatitis alcohólica; Cirrosis de Laennec

Síntomas:

Los síntomas varían con base en la gravedad de la enfermedad y, por lo general, son peores después de un período reciente de consumo excesivo de alcohol.

Es posible que no se presenten síntomas hasta que la enfermedad esté avanzada.

Los síntomas generales abarcan:

Los cambios en la piel abarcan:

  • Piel anormalmente oscura o pálida
  • Enrojecimiento de pies o manos
  • Vasos sanguíneos pequeños y rojos en forma de araña en la piel
  • Coloración amarilla en la piel, las membranas mucosas o los ojos (ictericia)

Sangrado anormal:

  • Evacuaciones sanguinolentas, negras o alquitranosas (melena)
  • Sangrado nasal o encías sangrantes
  • Vómito con sangre o material semejante a cuncho de café

Síntomas del cerebro y el sistema nervioso:

  • Agitación (estar emocionado, excitado o irritable)
  • Cambios en el estado de ánimo
  • Confusión (encefalopatía)
    • períodos de disminución de la conciencia o la lucidez mental
    • alucinaciones
    • alteración de la memoria a corto y largo plazo
  • Dolor, entumecimiento u hormigueo en brazos o piernas
  • Problemas para prestar atención o concentrarse
  • Pobre capacidad de discernimiento
  • Movimientos lentos y perezosos
