Prevención:

Se debe evitar hacer fuerza durante la defecación. Uno puede evitar la aparición de hemorroides, previniendo el estreñimiento. Se recomienda beber mucho líquido, por lo menos ocho vasos al día, al igual que consumir una dieta rica en fibra de frutas, verduras y granos integrales. Se puede pensar en tomar suplementos de fibra.
