Vaciamiento gástrico retardado; Gastroparesia del diabético
Es una enfermedad que reduce la capacidad del estómago para vaciar sus contenidos, sin que haya algún bloqueo (obstrucción).
Se desconoce la causa de la gastroparesia, pero puede ser provocada por una interrupción de las señales nerviosas al intestino. Esta afección es una complicación común de la diabetes y puede ser una complicación de algunas cirugías.
