Glucagonoma - Tratamiento

Tratamiento:

La extirpación quirúrgica del tumor es el tratamiento preferido. Esta afección no responde a la quimioterapia.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Aproximadamente el 60% de estos tumores son cancerosos y comúnmente hacen metástasis (se diseminan) al hígado.

Complicaciones:

Una de las complicaciones es la metástasis del cáncer al hígado.

Se debe buscar asistencia médica si se advierten síntomas que sugieran la presencia de un glucagonoma.
