Signos y exámenes:
Los signos vitales (temperatura, pulso, frecuencia respiratoria, presión sanguÃnea) revelan presión sanguÃnea alta, frecuencia cardÃaca rápida y fiebre.
Los exámenes comprenden:
- Biopsia suprarrenal que puede mostrar el feocromocitoma
- GammagrafÃa con MIBG que puede mostrar el tumor
- IRM abdominal que puede mostrar una masa suprarrenal
- TC abdominal que puede mostrar una masa
- Metanefrina urinaria elevada
- Catecolaminas en orina elevadas
- Resultados anormales en una examen de glucosa
- Catecolaminas en sangre anormales
