Escorbuto
Definición:
Es una condición caracterizada por debilidad general, anemia , enfermedad de las encÃas ( gingivitis ) y hemorragias de piel , resultante de una falta de ácido ascórbico ( vitamina C ) en la dieta. El escorbuto se observa ahora con mayor frecuencia en personas mayores con deficiencias nutricionales.
