Hipercalcemia - Prevention

Prevención:

La mayoría de las causas de hipercalcemia no se pueden prevenir. Las mujeres mayores de 50 años deben ir al médico regularmente y hacerse examinar en forma periódica los niveles de calcio en la sangre si tienen síntomas de esta enfermedad.

Usted puede evitar la hipercalcemia ocasionada por los suplementos de calcio o vitamina D, poniéndose en contacto con el médico para pedirle una recomendación con respecto a la dosis, en caso de estar tomando suplementos sin receta médica.
