Tiroiditis indolora silenciosa

SÃntomas:
Los sÃntomas de la tiroiditis indolora son generalmente leves. La mayorÃa de estos sÃntomas se deben al hipertiroidismo y pueden abarcar:
- Pérdida de peso
- Aumento del apetito
- Nerviosismo, inquietud
- Intolerancia al calor Â
- Aumento de la sudoración
- Fatiga
- Espasmos musculares
- Evacuación intestinal frecuente
- Menstruación irregular
- Debilidad
- Irritabilidad
- Palpitaciones
Signos y exámenes:
Un examen fÃsico revela un aumento de tamaño de la glándula tiroides. El pulso (frecuencia cardÃaca) puede ser rápido y se puede presentar temblor en las manos.
- Se disminuye la captación de yodo radiactivo
- T3 y T4  en suero están elevadas
- Una biopsia de tiroides muestra invasión de linfocitos (un tipo de glóbulo blanco) dentro de la glándula
