Prevención:

El hecho de ser consciente de los signos y síntomas de este síndrome puede posibilitar un tratamiento oportuno para pacientes que toman corticosteroides. Si la persona utiliza esteroides inhalados puede disminuir su exposición a ellos usando una "cámara inhalatoria" y enjuagándose la boca después de inhalarlos.
