Hipercortisolismo
Es un trastorno que ocurre cuando el cuerpo se expone a niveles altos de la hormona cortisol. También puede ocurrir si usted toma demasiado cortisol u otras hormonas esteroides.

El síndrome de Cushing puede ser causado por tomar demasiados medicamentos corticoesteroides, como prednisona y prednisolona. Estos fármacos se utilizan para tratar afecciones como el asma o la artritis reumatoidea.
