Fascitis eosinofÃlica
Tratamiento:
El tratamiento con medicamentos corticosteroides alivia los sÃntomas, en especial cuando se inician al principio de la enfermedad. Los medicamentos antinflamatorios no esteroides (AINES) también pueden ayudar a aliviar los sÃntomas.
Expectativas (pronóstico):
En la mayorÃa de los casos, la afección desaparece en 3 a 5 años; sin embargo, los sÃntomas pueden retornar (recurrir) o persistir.
Complicaciones:
La artritis es una complicación poco común de la fascitis eosinofÃlica y algunos pacientes pueden desarrollar cánceres relacionados con la sangre.
