Artritis reumatoidea juvenil - Symptom

Síntomas:

Los síntomas de la artritis reumatoidea juvenil pueden comenzar con una articulación inflamada, cojera, una fiebre alta y un nuevo salpullido.

  • Fiebre, usualmente fiebres altas todos los días.

La artritis reumatoidea juvenil también puede causar problemas oculares llamados uveítis, iridociclitis o iritis. Puede no haber síntomas o la persona puede tener:

El examen físico puede mostrar articulaciones inflamadas, calientes y sensibles que duelen al moverlas. El niño igualmente puede presentar una erupción. Otros signos abarcan:

Algunos o todos estos exámenes de sangre pueden ser normales en pacientes con ARJ.

El médico puede colocar una pequeña aguja dentro de una articulación inflamada para extraer líquido, lo cual puede ayudar a encontrar la causa de la artritis y también a aliviar el dolor. Algunas veces, el médico inyectará esteroides dentro de la articulación para ayudar a reducir la hinchazón.
