Nefropatía por inmunoglobulina A; Enfermedad de Berger

Síntomas:

Puede no haber síntomas durante mucho años.

Los síntomas abarcan:

  • Orina con sangre que comienza durante o poco después de una infección respiratoria
  • Episodios repetitivos de orina con sangre u oscura
  • Hinchazón de manos y pies
  • Síntomas de enfermedad renal crónica

Pruebas y exámenes:

La nefropatía por IgA generalmente se descubre después de uno o más episodios de orina con sangre u oscura en una persona sin ningún otro síntoma de trastorno renal.

No se observan cambios específicos durante el examen físico. En ocasiones, la presión arterial puede estar elevada o puede haber una hinchazón en el cuerpo.
