Síntomas:

Nota: los síntomas varían y en muchos casos no hay síntomas en absoluto.

Signos y exámenes:

Un examen físico puede mostrar hinchazón (edema).

Un análisis de sangre puede revelar proteína en la orina o sangre en la orina. La tasa de filtración glomerular (la "velocidad" de purificación de la sangre) generalmente es casi normal.

La albúmina sérica puede estar baja. Los niveles de lípidos en la sangre pueden aumentar.

Una biopsia del riñón confirma el diagnóstico de nefropatía membranosa.
