Nefritis por fenacetina; Nefropatía por el uso de analgésicos

Pruebas y exámenes:

Un examen físico puede mostrar signos de nefritis intersticial o insuficiencia renal.

La presión arterial puede estar elevada. El médico puede escuchar sonidos cardíacos o pulmonares anormales al auscultar el tórax con un estetoscopio. Asimismo, puede haber signos de envejecimiento prematuro de la piel.

Los exámenes de laboratorio muestran sangre y pus en la orina, con o sin signos de infección y puede haber una mínima o ninguna pérdida de proteína en la orina.
