Hidronefrosis unilateral

La hidronefrosis es una afección que ocurre con una enfermedad pero que no es una enfermedad en sà misma. El tratamiento y el pronóstico para la hidronefrosis unilateral dependen de lo que esté causando la inflamación del riñón.Â
Los trastornos a menudo asociados con la hidronefrosis unilateral son, entre otros:
- UropatÃa obstructiva unilateral aguda
- UropatÃa obstructiva unilateral crónica
- Reflujo vesicoureteral (reflujo de la orina de la vejiga al riñón)
- Nefrolitiasis (cálculos renales)
- Hidronefrosis que ocurre sin una causa conocida durante el embarazo
La hidronefrosis unilateral se presenta aproximadamente en 1 de cada 100 personas.
