Necrosis tubular aguda - Prevention

Prevención:

El tratamiento oportuno de las afecciones que pueden producir disminución del flujo sanguíneo y/o disminución de la oxigenación a los riñones puede reducir el riesgo de necrosis tubular aguda.

Se realizan pruebas cruzadas a las transfusiones sanguíneas para reducir el riesgo de reacciones de incompatibilidad.

Controle enfermedades como la diabetes, enfermedades hepáticas o trastornos cardíacos para reducir el riesgo de necrosis tubular aguda.

Vigile cuidadosamente la exposición a medicamentos que puedan ser tóxicos para el riñón y hágase revisar los niveles de dichos medicamentos en la sangre en forma regular. Tome mucho líquido luego de la exposición a cualquier tipo de medios de contraste radiológico para permitir que sean eliminados del cuerpo y reducir el riesgo de daño renal.
